Blue light has a relatively short wavelength compared to many other colors of visible light. However, there is one color that has a shorter wavelength than blue light, and that is violet light. Violet light has the shortest wavelength among the colors of the visible spectrum. It has a wavelength range of approximately 380 to 450 nanometers (nm), while blue light ranges from about 450 to 495 nm. Therefore, violet light has a shorter wavelength than blue light.
