At 25 degrees Celsius, water is in a liquid state under normal atmospheric pressure. Water exists as a liquid between 0 degrees Celsius and 100 degrees Celsius at standard atmospheric pressure (1 atmosphere). At temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius, water freezes and becomes a solid (ice), while at temperatures above 100 degrees Celsius, water boils and turns into a gaseous state (steam). However, it's important to note that the physical state of water can be altered by changing the temperature and pressure conditions.
