A light year is not a unit of time but a unit of distance. It represents the distance that light travels in one year, approximately 9.461 trillion kilometers (or about 5.878 trillion miles). It is used to measure vast astronomical distances, particularly when discussing the scale of our galaxy or the universe.

On the other hand, a human year is a unit of time that represents the time it takes for the Earth to complete one orbit around the Sun, which is approximately 365.25 days.

So, a light year and a human year are fundamentally different units, one measuring distance and the other measuring time. They are not directly convertible into each other.
