To clarify, a circle is a two-dimensional shape and does not have volume. Instead, circles have an area, which represents the amount of space enclosed by the circle. The formula to calculate the area of a circle is:

A = πr²

Where: A is the area of the circle π (pi) is a mathematical constant approximately equal to 3.14159 r is the radius of the circle (the distance from the center of the circle to any point on its circumference)

To calculate the area of a circle, square the radius and multiply it by pi.
