The speed of sound is not faster than the speed at which the Earth rotates. In fact, the speed of sound is significantly slower than the rotational speed of the Earth.

The speed at which the Earth rotates at its equator is approximately 1670 kilometers per hour (km/h) or about 465 meters per second (m/s). This rotational speed is known as the Earth's angular velocity.

On the other hand, the speed of sound in dry air at sea level and at a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius is around 343 meters per second (about 1235 km/h). This value can vary depending on factors such as temperature, humidity, and altitude.

As you can see, the speed of sound is much slower than the rotational speed of the Earth. So, it is incorrect to say that the speed of sound is faster than the Earth's rotational speed.
