The solar system that contains our Sun and all its planets, excluding Earth, is known as the "Solar System" or the "Sun's planetary system." It consists of the Sun at its center, surrounded by eight major planets: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Earth. Each of these planets orbits the Sun and has its own unique characteristics and features. Earth is a part of this solar system, so if we exclude Earth, we are referring to the remaining seven planets orbiting the Sun.
