The concept of the "center" of the universe is somewhat misleading. According to our current understanding of the universe based on the Big Bang theory, the universe does not have a specific center point.

The Big Bang theory suggests that the universe originated from an extremely dense and hot state about 13.8 billion years ago. In the early stages, the universe rapidly expanded in all directions, and as it continues to expand, galaxies and other cosmic structures have been moving away from each other.

The expansion of the universe does not occur from a specific central location into surrounding space. Instead, it is a expansion of space itself, where every point in the universe is moving away from every other point. This expansion is often visualized using the analogy of an inflating balloon, where dots on the surface of the balloon move away from each other as the balloon expands. However, it's important to note that this analogy is just a simplification and does not fully capture the complexities of the universe's expansion.

In this context, it doesn't make sense to talk about a single point as the center of the universe. Instead, all points in the universe are moving away from each other as space expands. Therefore, from any given location in the universe, it would appear as if other galaxies and structures are moving away, giving the illusion that the observer's location is the center. However, this is true for any observer in any other location as well.

It's worth noting that the concept of the observable universe does have a center, which is the observer's location. The observable universe refers to the portion of the universe that we can potentially observe based on the finite speed of light and the age of the universe. But beyond the observable universe, the structure and extent of the universe on larger scales remain a subject of ongoing research and exploration in cosmology.
