According to our current understanding of physics, it is not possible for any object with mass, including a human being, to travel faster than the speed of light in a vacuum. As an object with mass accelerates towards the speed of light, its relativistic mass increases, requiring an infinite amount of energy to reach or exceed the speed of light. This makes it physically impossible for objects with mass, including humans, to travel at or faster than the speed of light.

Additionally, as an object with mass approaches the speed of light, its mass would become infinite, resulting in infinite energy requirements to accelerate further. This violates the principles of our current understanding of physics.

It is important to note that special relativity has been extensively tested and confirmed by various experiments and observations. So, based on our current scientific knowledge, it is not possible for a human or any other object with mass to travel faster than the speed of light in any environment, whether on Earth or in space.
