The airplane commonly known for flying at Mach speeds is called the "Concorde." The Concorde was a supersonic passenger jet developed and jointly produced by British Aerospace and AĆ©rospatiale. It entered commercial service in 1976 and operated until 2003.
The Concorde was capable of flying at a maximum speed of Mach 2.04, which is more than twice the speed of sound. This means it could reach speeds of around 1,354 miles per hour (2,180 kilometers per hour) or approximately 1,150 miles per hour (1,850 kilometers per hour) at cruising altitude.
Please note that the Concorde is no longer in operation, but during its time, it was an iconic aircraft known for its supersonic capabilities and unique design.
