In physics, time is considered one of the fundamental dimensions of our universe, along with space. It is often described as the fourth dimension, completing the fabric of spacetime. Time is measured in units such as seconds, minutes, hours, and so on.

Time exists independently of any observer or conscious perception. It is a fundamental aspect of our reality and is believed to have existed since the beginning of the universe. In other words, time flows regardless of whether there is an observer to perceive it or not. This concept is supported by the fact that various natural processes occur and events unfold even in the absence of any conscious beings to observe them.

However, our perception of time can be influenced by various factors, including our location, motion, and gravitational fields. As I mentioned earlier, these factors can lead to time dilation effects, where the passage of time appears different for observers in different conditions. But fundamentally, time itself is an intrinsic property of the universe and does not require an observer to exist.
