The pilot-wave model, also known as the de Broglie-Bohm theory, is one of several interpretations or alternative models that attempt to provide a description of quantum mechanics, including wave-particle duality. The Copenhagen interpretation, which emphasizes the probabilistic nature of quantum mechanics and wave function collapse, remains the most widely accepted interpretation of quantum mechanics. Other interpretations, such as the Many-Worlds interpretation or the consistent histories approach, also have proponents but are not universally embraced. It's important to note that the nature of wave-particle duality and the interpretation of quantum mechanics are still active areas of research and debate.
