The inverse relationship between frequency (f) and wavelength (λ) in electromagnetic (EM) radiation is described by the equation:

Since the speed of light is constant in a vacuum (approximately 3.00 x 10^8 meters per second), a higher frequency corresponds to a shorter wavelength, and vice versa.
