The atomic mass of an electron is extremely small compared to the atomic masses of other particles. In fact, the electron is so lightweight that its mass is typically considered negligible for most calculations. The accepted value for the mass of an electron is approximately 9.10938356 x 10^-31 kilograms, or about 0.000548579909 atomic mass units (u).
