Infrared light has a higher wavelength than red light.

The visible spectrum of light ranges from approximately 400 to 700 nanometers in wavelength. Within this range, red light has a longer wavelength at around 620 to 750 nanometers.

Infrared light, on the other hand, has wavelengths longer than those of red light. Infrared radiation starts from around 700 nanometers and extends to several millimeters in wavelength. It is often divided into three categories: near-infrared (700 nm to 1.5 micrometers), mid-infrared (1.5 to 30 micrometers), and far-infrared (30 micrometers to 1 millimeter).

So, in terms of wavelength, infrared light has a higher value than red light.
