When a string vibrates in n loops, it means that it completes n full wavelengths along its length. The length of the string (L) can be expressed in terms of the wavelength (λ) as follows:

L = n * λ

So, the length of the string is equal to the number of loops (n) multiplied by the wavelength (λ).
