The names of the four new elements with atomic numbers 113, 115, 117, and 118, which were officially recognized by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) in 2016, are as follows:

  • Element 113: Nihonium (Nh)
  • Element 115: Moscovium (Mc)
  • Element 117: Tennessine (Ts)
  • Element 118: Oganesson (Og)

These names were proposed by the discoverers of these elements and were officially approved by the IUPAC in November 2016. It is worth noting that these elements are all synthetic and highly unstable, with very short half-lives, and they were created in laboratories through nuclear reactions rather than being found naturally on Earth.
